Tie Front Sweater from Positively Crochet

This tie front sweater is a pattern from the positively crochet pattern book.

Great pattern book I must add.

The top of the sweater is a very nice fit.

You can make it the length you want.

I made the large size and used 100% 8ply wool, with a size 5.00 and 6.00 mm hook.

The top part is also done in double strands (which makes it nice and warm)

and the lower part in single strand. Hence the 2 sizes of hooks.

Below is a picture of the matching hat and neck warmer I made.

This is the book and the pattern is on page 61. I recommend this book to any one thinking of purchasing it.

What's your Favourite?

These are some set's that I have made, to hopefully sell at a market.
I have not used a pattern for any of them.
They are unique in themselve's.
I just start to crochet and form a pattern and colour scheme
that will suit the yarn that I am using.
I have given them names and am hoping that you will vote on your favourite.
This will give me more insight on what to duplicate.
Thanks for looking.

Lily's gift for her 8th birthday

Scarf, hat and bag set for Lily.

The bag is a plastic container which has had the top and bottom cut off, then cut through the centre, hole punched around then crocheted through the holes, with a sc circle, attached to both ends.

The original idea for the bag comes from the kooky crochet pattern book.

Better material for handles

I believe that I have found better wire for my hand bag handles.
It is welding wire which is about 16 guage which is the guage I need.
