My Valentine for 2022.
Simple yet effective heart in a frame, which you can have as a solid heart or an outlined heart.
Columns 1 and 2 are a border st and an outer frame st.
Columns 40 and 41 are an outer frame st and a border st.
This size is also perfect for a hat or purse.
A sample I made with the Tunisian Crochet Mosaic method.
Here are some samples of the framed heart pattern in larger forms.
Lots of Love to share with 2 new heart graphs.
The first is the more spacious of the 2 called "Heart Breaker" and the second has more fullness and that one is called "Heart Breaker Plus".
Heart Breaker with Mark Ups Heart Breaker Plus no marks Heart Breaker Plus with mark ups This is my favorite to date!
It's a classic weave pattern that I've used on my weaving loom.
Because I made the bag from the zip and downwards, I had to turn the pattern upside down, to make it the right way up.
I used 4 ply cotton and the zip is approx 18 cm's.
I had 4 repeats of the pattern and it's almost perfectly centered.
I started the graph on one end of the zip and made it in the round.
The written pattern will remain here until I make a post for it.

These 2 graphs are the perfect size for a hat, purse or small bag.
They can be used for larger projects too, but I made the graphs this size to help you when making the above suggestions.
The patterns mirror themselves, they are the same right way up and upside down. ↓
This is my A4 (landscape) sized cheat sheet and the written instructions for the graph. You need a stitch count repeat of 8 st's, then make your item the length you need. After rows 1 to 9, you repeat rows 4 to 9 over and over for your length. ↓
I am working on an 18 cm zip, my st's on the zip were made 0.5 cm's apart and I ended up with 76 st's.
I altered my Mosaic Suntastic graph design to fit and to be evenly spaced for the pattern in the round for a bag, purse or hat.
Here is what I will be using, I'll have a finished picture soon.
The pattern also mirrors itself, so it is the same right way up and upside down.
Head over here for the written version of this graph pattern.
I designed a dogs paw print, when and if you use the graph, just space the paws apart (not as much as in the graph, that's just a sample). ↓
Squared Away Design by Robyn B Kaleta
Three dimensional (3D) illusion effect in 2 color mosaic crochet.
A simple check plaid design for mosaic crochet.
It's an 8 stitch repeat across, plus 3 for the end of the pattern rows.
To calculate your stitch count for this pattern, you will need to add each side stitch, the number of times you want to repeat the pattern and 3 more st's to end the pattern repeats.
All you need is this small graph for the pattern.
Here is the larger graph for a visual on how it will look.
Here is a new graph for mosaic crochet "Star Jumps". The small version shows you that you only need that section of the graph for the repeats. The larger version shows you what it would look like when repeated over and over.
It would look lovely for a baby blanket or you could mix it up with other designs too.
Mosaic Crochet - Star Jumps Written Pattern
This is one single repeat for the pattern with in the red lines.
If you want 5 star jumps, repeat the written instructions 5 times.
If you want 8 star jumps, repeat the written instructions 8 times.
Please NOTE the written instructions does not include your side stitch at the beginning and end of the row.

The "flutter By" pattern is now available here!
See the full written pattern and mosaic graph here!
I made this in March of 2020 so it's in my older style of making graphs, but it's too good not to share for those of you who like Egyptian styles of mosaic, so here it is.
Here is another with the Ankh

Now for the smaller version with mosaic mark ups. I always mark the repeats with a red square.
Valentines day 2021 is coming soon, yet hearts are in fashion all year round.
This can graph can be used for a scarf if you doubled the length and you could widen it a little bit more.
It would also look great in almost anything you wanted a love heart on.
I called this one the ten of hearts, because if you count the hearts there are ten of them, simple but snappy, enjoy!
No markings for a good visual
I called this one mosaic crochet Diamond Trail as it's quite precious and trails off endlessly. I'm quite convinced if an indigenous color sequence was used, that it would look amazing!
Jan 2021
This is a solo sequence of the pattern.
Here is the large version.
Here is the small graph with markings, when doing these, you only need to repeat what is in the red square to achieve the pattern.
If you check down the bottom of this page you will see an illusion graph like this in a larger version, it too has a pattern repeat of 39 st's, they could be used perfectly together.
edit# corrections made thank you Dia Roberts.
You may ask why I am mentioning it again, well that's because I have another one to show you.
It's a diamond in a diamond in a square.
It looks great if the pattern is stacked and even more of an illusion when off set and that is why I will now show you the different versions of it.
Jan 2021This is the pattern with stacked repeats.
This is the pattern with off set repeats.
I was pretty happy when I also saw another shape happening in this one, can you see it?
Yes the chevron/zig zag. Now I will give you the graphs with the mark ups for mosaic crochet. This is a sample of what one pattern sequence will look like. This is such a pretty mosaic crochet design when made up.
I thought I would show you what the single design element looks like solo and then what it looks like when off set in an entire design.
Very clever design.
Jan 2021
This is simply the top half of the graph on it's own.
Just goes to show how versatile a single element can look.
January 2021
This New Graph I designed, reminds me a bit of Victorian Style Tiles
So that is what I called it. I also made a black version so you can kind of picture what it would look like in black and white.
I have a new free pattern 20/11/20 to share!Written and graph instructions are here.

This one had me stumped for a while, it was difficult to point out the repeat sequence, but I did persevere over time and now it is ready for show.
1 simple element, repeated over and over, the element is common in mosaic crochet and looks like this.
Finished 22/10/20

Mosaic Lantern Trellis
The first graph shows the split up of the mosaic pattern.
The second graph shows what it looks like as a whole.
The mid section can be repeated for a length of your desire, I hope you like this as it took some time to design, being unwell as I am causes a lot of brain fog for me.
You can get really creative with this one by having some solid diamonds mixed among-st the empty diamonds.
