Crocheted Baby

I made a crocheted baby I almost forgot to share this one with you. He/she is too cute not to share.
My dear late mother-in-law, made this blanket but did not finish the very last row, so I completed it with a lovely shell edging and made the baby in the remaining yarn to match it. I also found some of her knitted baby clothes that only needed the buttons sewn on, so I finished them off too. Her grandson is having his first child and I purposely finished the items off for his new baby, which will be born in Feb, 2008. He was very close to his Grandmother and I am positive he will be very touched to have some thing from her, for his very first child.

You can find the pattern for the baby here.

Cup Cake or Mushroom?

mushroom house crocheted I got the cupcake tutorial for this from here.
I thought the roof looked more like the top of a mushroom, so I made it into a mushroom house.
The lid comes off for storage inside.
